Playing in the rain

It's been raining non-stop here for 3 days (and we still have another day to go). We were getting a little stir-crazy in the house, so we met up with Isaac at the park and had a little fun in the rain. The boys were so cute and had so much fun, although Jayden did say as we were leaving, "mommy, next time we go to the park, we should go when it's nice out."

Weekend in LA

After Jer's BJJ promotion we headed up to LA to hang out with Uncle Andrew and Uncle Jamie. The next morning we headed over to the cousins' house to hang out with the kids, then headed to the Long Beach Performing Center to watch Morgan in the Nutcracker. Morgan did an awesome job, and Jayden sat through pretty much the entire show and loved it! So fun to see everyone.

Daddy's Jiu Jitsu Promotion

Jer's jiu jitsu school had a promotion this past weekend and Jer got another stripe on his belt (2 away from getting a blue belt). Can't wait for Jayden to start jiu jitsu next year!!!!!

Beach Day in December

Last weekend it was 80 out- we had to take advantage of the beautiful weather, so we headed to our favorite spot, Coronado. Can't beat playing at the beach in the middle of December =)

We ended the day at Seaport Village

Hanukkah Rocks

Our temple had a Hanukkah concert a few weeks ago. Most of Jayden's preschool buddies were there and the kids had a blast running around, jamming to the music. The preschool kids also got up in front of everyone and sang some songs they practiced in school- Jayden of course held on to Bailey and didn't open his mouth.

Jer's 33rd birthday weekend

Last weekend Jeremy turned 33. I'm pretty sure he had one of his best birthdays (if not the best) EVER. We opened presents on Friday night (our family tradition since mommy can never wait for anything)! On saturday Jer thought we were all going for a bike ride...but, we got TWO surprise visits- first uncle Andrew and uncle Jamie surprised Jeremy, and then, minutes later, my parents walked in with my Uncle Bob. Jeremy was completely surprised and sooooooooo excited to see so many people we love and who love us. We had a blast hanging out at our place, opening Hanukkah gifts with everyone, enjoying some yummy food and Jer's birthday cake, and then we all went out for dinner. The next day Andrew & Jamie had to leave, but Uncle Bob spent the whole day with us- we went hiking, hung out at the house, and then went to Jer's favorite brewery (without J) that night. We are so very lucky to have so many people who take the time out of their lives to be with us, love us, and love our child. Thank you G & G, Andrew, Jamie & Bob for sharing this special time with us and for helping to make this Jer's best birthday ever. Now, how the hell am I going to top this next year?!

Jayden and I made a picture book for Daddy...I think he liked it!

Happy 33 to the most amazing man, husband, father in this entire world...could not have picked a better best friend and life partner-- I am so very lucky. WE LOVE YOU daddy.

COOLEST birthday ever- 3 of our favorite people came to visit us, how lucky are we?!

Can't come to the Macks without rockin' out!

We surprised Jeremey (again) and took him to his favorite restaurant in SD, Oceanaire. The menu said "Happy Birthday Jeremy" on top of it, how cool is that?!

Jayden didn't nap all day and passed out on the way to the restaurant- he stayed sleeping on jer for about 30 mins -- pretty good birthday present for his daddy =)

Grandpa surprised daddy with a baked alaska- Jayden thought it was so cool to watch the food light up

The fam outside of Oceanaire...soooooooooo cool to have everyone together =)

On Sunday we went for a hike up Cowles Mt with Uncle Bob. Jayden hiked up almost the entire mountain (we couldn't believe it) and then proceeded to pass out on Jer the moment we started to head back down- he slept on Jer the ENTIRE hike down...so ridiculously cute
