Spending the day with Grandpa

Grandma and Grandma drove AG to the Cow Palace at 4:30 am to "see him off" (will post pics as soon as I get them!). After they watched AG ride off, Grandpa dropped Grandma off at the airport (she had to go back to Boston for a meeting), so we had Grandpa all to ourselves.

We all hung out for a while and Jayden showed off his creation he made with Daddy

After we played for a bit, it was time for Jayden to go down for his morning nap, so, of course, we just HAD to go to Grandpa's favorite place...Toys'R Us!!! We got Jayden some fun new toys that he LOVES!!

Finally something he can pull up on other than the boxes and laundry basket!

After Jayden played with his new toys for a bit, we decided to go back to the Foster City Festival because Grandpa really wanted to take Jayden on the carousel. It was a lot warmer this time, and we spent the day hanging out, listening to music, eating yummy food, and playing carnival games. We had so much fun hanging out with Grandpa (and he didn't even touch his computer all day!!).

AGski, Grandma & Grandpa Come to visit

Uncle AGski flew up to SF Friday night because he is participating the in Aids LifeCycle race this Sunday. He will be biking from San Francisco to LA (over 500 miles) in an effort to raise awareness for AIDS. We are all very proud of him (and excited that we get to see him for a few days before he leaves for his race). Grandma and Grandpa also flew in for the weekend to see AG and to be there to watch him head off for his ride Sunday morning.

On Saturday, we all headed to Foster City for the Art & Wine Festival. The weather wasn't that great, but we had so much fun hanging out with the fam. Jayden is still madly in love with his Uncle AG and spent most of the day jumping on top of him, straddling him, eating his ears and trying to lick his face. Uncle AG was a good sport and let Jayden do whatever he wanted.

Cool, glasses, something else to pull on...this Uncle AG guy is pretty fun!

Good luck AGski. We are all very proud of you and can't wait to follow your ride down the coast!

Who needs toys?!

When you have a child your space no longer belongs to you...somehow every inch of our small 2 bedroom apartment is FULL of toys for Jayden.

Basket 1 of Jayden's toys

Basket 2 of Jayden's toys

...and what does he choose to play with these days...a shopping bag, a box of diaper wipes and our laundry basket (oh well, what can you do?!).

Caught on camera

Jayden has been crawling for a while, but he's not that into it-- he'd much rather be standing and jumping. For the last couple of days, however, he's getting back into crawling. For some reason I never can find the camera when he's crawling, but I finally caught him on camera today! Sorry the 1st two are so dark =(

Quality time with Grandma Mack

Grandma Mack came to visit this weekend and although the weather wasn't that great, Jayden had so much fun spending time with his grandma. The last time he saw Grandma Mack he was only 4 months old, so he had a lot of new skills he wanted to show her. He of course had to show her how his most favorite skill of all...standing and pulling your hair at the same time (I know, we have a really talented baby!!).

Next he wanted to show her his 2nd favorite skill...jumping on the couch!

On Sunday, we celebrated my 29th birthday by going mini golfing. This was Jayden's 1st time golfing, but we can already tell he's the next Tiger Woods!

After mini golfing, Mommy and Daddy went to a friend's BBQ and Jayden stayed home with grandma- he had so much fun with her that when we came back he was passed out on grandma.

The weather wasn't too great yesterday (mid 60's, which is VERY cold for us California peeps), so we spent most of the day playing inside. Jayden wanted to show Grandma Mack how he likes to read his favorite book with mommy.

Showing off his new onesie from Grandma...it says "Lock up your daughters!"

After a while, we were all going a little stir crazy in the house, so we went for a walk to the park and Jayden got to show his Grandma how much he loves the swings

Off to the park!

I think it's safe to say he had a good time on the swings!

Thanks for coming to visit us Grandma Mack. We're so excited for you to move to the West Coast so Jayden can see you more often!

Bird watching

For some reason, the neighborhood birds have decided that our deck is the place to be, so they spend the day hanging out on our deck, singing songs, jumping in circles (yes, California birds are weird), oh, and also mating. Jayden LOVES to stand/jump on the couch and watch the birds hang out on our deck...he squeals with excitement and cries when they leave. Yes, we lead very exciting lives!

Bird Watching...how very exciting!

Hey, stop disturbing me, I'm trying to look at the birds
