Back to the zoo

We were supposed to hang out with friends today, but Jayden woke up with a cold, so we went to the zoo instead. Jayden rode around the zoo in style- sittin' in his "new" car. We spent most of the morning at the children's zoo, but we also went on the sky tram for the 1st time (which he LOVED) and got to see the polar bears.

Now that I have Jeremy's old iphone, I can actually take pictures again (I always forgot to bring our camera with me, but my phone is always with me). Jayden and I were hanging out on the deck this afternoon and he just looked so cute...and so OLD, so I had to do a quick photo shoot. The pics are just too cute not to post =)

SeaWorld

Today we met up with some new friends and went to SeaWorld. Jayden had a blast looking at all the animals- they were way more active today than the last time we went. We saw whales, sharks, polar bears, manatees, walruses, penguins, eels, and lots of different fish. Jayden also pet a horse, touched his 1st stingray, and went on his 1st ride. We both had fun making new friends! Jayden was a champ and lasted an hr past his normal nap time....and passed out the moment I put him in his carseat!

Never thought this day would EVER happen

Yesterday I was cleaning up in the kitchen and I looked around (waiting for my lil man to start pulling on my pants), but, he was no where in sight...he was in the living room playing ALL BY HIMSELF!!!!! I had to take pictures to document such a historic event! (And no, the tv is not on, it's music on On Demand)

Jayden is obsessed with any and everything with wheels- cars/bikes/trucks/trains. It's like he has blinders on and wherever we are, no matter what else is going on, he will fixate on any object that has wheels. It's cute, but also a little annoying, since everything has wheels (even the homeless men in the park have wheels on their little carts- argghhh).

Art Festival in Little Italy

We are currently living with my parents downtown, which is really cool because there is always so much going on downtown and we can just walk over to check everything out and don't have to deal with driving and finding parking. This afternoon we walked over to Little Italy and checked out an Art Festival. They had a section for kids and Jayden enjoyed making some music...until it was time to put away the instruments...let's just say Jayden does not like to give up something he is enjoying and lets EVERYONE around him know- oh the joys of a toddler.
