And we finally have a swimmer again

Jayden used to LOVE the water. I couldn't wait to move into a house so I could finally get him a water table and a baby pool. Well, ever since we moved to San Diego, J decided he no longer liked the water. He still loved going to the beach, but he never went to the water, and if he did get close, he would run away if a wave came somewhat close to him. He also wouldn't go in the baby pool, even when we were with all of his friends and they were all splashing around. Well...this weekend we went to Laguna, and J played on the beach, but, of course, ran away from the water. Then...something happened...Daddy went in the water, and all of a sudden, Jayden wanted to go in with Daddy. They spent a good 20 minutes playing in the water. I was shocked. Well, we went to the beach yesterday, and what did Jayden want to do the entire time--he played in the water all day. It's the bay water, so probably not the cleanest water, but he had a blast, and I was just excited to see him learn to love water again.

Laguna with the Uncles

Uncle AG and Uncle Jamie had a hockey party in Laguna and invited us to come up. We couldn't say no to a visit with the uncles, since Jayden (and his parents) love hanging out with our favorite LA boys. We were a little nervous since we skipped Jayden's nap (he took a short nap in the car), but he did great and, of course, had so much fun with his uncles and all their friends.

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

It is no secret that Jayden LOVES LOVES LOVES his Grandma and Grandpa. After having lived with them for 3 months, he got used to seeing them all the time...then we moved into our house, and G & G went on a traveling frenzy- in the last few weeks they've been to Paris, then London, and now Gloucester. They came over for dinner on Thursday and, of course, Jayden was in heaven. They then stopped by on Friday before their red-eye to Boston and Jayden squeezed in some last minute fun with them before they had to leave.
