Balboa Park & Seaport Village

We had an awesome weekend last weekend. On Saturday we headed to Balboa Park and took Jayden to the children's museum. There was a St Patty's day parade at the park, so the museum was completely empty and Jayden had so much fun exploring

And of course we had to go on the train

J LOVES this train!

On Sunday we headed over to Seaport Village. Jayden ran around, had some treats, then got to talk to some firemen and then ride on a firetruck...such a lucky boy!

We met up with G & G and grabbed some lunch at Grandpa's favorite place, the crab shack. Jayden had corn for the 1st time and loved it!

On our way home we stopped by the gazebo to listen to a band. We had Jayden's trumpet with him (since he takes it everywhere with him) so he got on the dance floor and starting playing his trumpet with the band. The band then took a break and one of the band members came over to us and asked if Jayden likes the drums...we told him he's actually obsessed with the drums...well, he asked if Jayden wanted to play his drums, how cool is that?! He was in heaven and looked like a complete natural up there. He was smiling from ear to ear and so proud of himself!

We ended the weekend with dinner with great friends...all in all, it was an awesome weekend

Shabbat Class

Every Friday Jayden and I do a mommy and me shabbat class at his preschool. It's so much fun seeing him interact with his teachers and friends and seeing how much he changes every week. He has grown so much since he started school last month and we are so happy that we've found such a perfect place for him to go to preschool. He now does a great job playing independently, so I decided to just sit back and watch him.

Long time, no post

So life has been a little crazy lately. Jer and I joined a boxing gym, which is AMAZING, but which means we're always busy or EXHAUSTED...we've been going to bed before 10 almost every night. Jer's been crazy busy, with a launch of a huge site coming up soon and we've all been dealing with a lovely head hold that Jayden got from school. On top of that, my iphoto isn't working and I can't upload any pics.

Last weekend we went to an amazing brunch where we literally ate with the ocean right next to us.

In heaven, dipping his french toast into warm maple syrup (and dripping it all over grandma!)

We then headed to our temple for the Purim festival where Jayden had a blast playing games, jumping on the jumpy, and eating yummy treats.

We also took Daddy to Seaworld for the 1st time and Jayden was so happy to finally go on all the rides (since mommy won't ever go on them with him!).

Putting him to work- helping mommy scrub the tub

1st time sitting on the potty (daddy told him he'd get a treat if he went pee on the potty)...he pushed and pushed, but nothing happened. He hasn't shown any desire to use the potty since, which I'm fine with since I don't think either of us are ready to potty train.
