Bay of Play at Seaworld

So Jayden wanted to go in the water at Seaworld, and, of course, I didn't have a change of clothes, so I told him he had to take off his shirt, which he decided meant he needed to take off ALL of his clothes...so yes, I was THAT mom with a naked kid running around Seaworld...it was hilarious, but he had a blast, which is all that matters to me =)

Mothers Day Part II

This morning Daddy and Jayden brought me chocolate chip waffles in bed...I LOVE mothers day!!! We hung out at the house for a bit, talked to Grandma Mack on skype, and then headed to the beach. It wasn't that nice out today, but we still had a blast at the beach. We ended the day with a yummy dinner at g&g's.

I am so blessed to have such an incredible family! Mom, thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me. Amy, thank you for raising the love of my life, and for teaching him how to be such an amazing father and husband. And, lastly, to Jayden, my heart, my little man, thank you for being my greatest gift, for teaching me how to really really love. Because of you I am a mom and no matter how frustrating and challenging this journey has been, I cannot imagine what my world would be like without you in it. You are my greatest accomplishment and I love you with all my heart.

"As challenging as parenthood is, it is also equally rewarding, because we are using all our wisdom, our talent and skills to help forge a new person. It is this person, who in turn, will use their gifts to create our future. So every nursery rhyme I recite, every swing I push, every little hand I hold is SOMETHING!"

Mothers Day Part I

Since the Macks are ALL about extending holidays, we always make mothers day (and fathers day) a weekend long event that's action packed. Today we hit Point Loma and went to the Asian Festival, and then went to one of my favorite spots, the secret beach. Jer has taken care of J and pampered me all day, and is giving j a bath and putting him to bed as we speak! Can't wait for more fun tomorrow!!!

Daddy let me "sleep in" this morning...jer took Jayden on an adventure and they came back with all of my favorites...together, Jer and Jayden made me cookies (which they brought to me in bed), french toast, turkey bacon, diet coke, and ice cream sandwiches...how awesome are my boys?!

Jayden decided he wanted to go swimming, and since we hadn't planned originally planned on going to the beach, we didn't have a bathing suit for him (or a towel or a change of clothes), so we stripped him down and he went naked...and LOVED it!!!

My 1st mother's day presents from J

Yesterday when I picked J up from school, he ran to me and squealed "happy mothers day" and then ran to his cubby and gave me my present. They had made stuff for the moms in school, and it was the 1st time J had ever made something for me (usually I'm doing it with him, so we make it for daddy or grandma). It made my day!!! He helped me open it and then told me all about the presents...love that kid!!!
