On Sunday Jayden started to act a little weird-- he stopped smiling, laughing and jumping, and just sat still and stared at people (very unlike him), so we knew something was up. When we put him to bed Sunday night, he felt a little hot. When he woke up Monday morning his whole body was on fire. We took his temperature and he had a fever, so off to the Dr. we went (this is the 1st time he's ever been sick, so we were a little scared). Jayden looked like he was in a daze, and wouldn't even smile for mama. The Dr. said checked him out and said that it looked like he caught a virus and to give him motrin for his fever. Jayden spent Monday and Tuesday sleeping, cuddling with mama and crying/whining. He woke up today feeling much better, but I noticed a rash all over his body, so off to the Dr's office we went again. He said that he had already seen 2 similar cases today and that it was part of the virus.
Jayden has been such a trooper these last couple of days (and even stole daddy's food tonight). We're off to San Diego tomorrow morning, so hopefully he will be feeling better when he wakes up.
