Children's Museum

When we 1st moved to San Diego, we checked out the new children's museum since it's two blocks from g&g's house...after having spent lots of time at the children's museum in the bay, we were definitely disappointed with the lack of hands on activities for younger children at the SD museum. We hadn't been back since, but a few weeks ago there was a coupon for 50% off the entrance fee, so we decided to check it out again. The exhibits have all changed, and J is a yr older...while it still pales in comparison to the one in the bay, Jayden had a great time and we will definitely make this one of our regular spots...here are some pics from our adventure...

Riding the push cars

Blowing bubbles

Jumping in the rain house

Wearing the dinosaur feet

Dino Jayden

Maxwell, Jayden's buddy from preschool, met us at the museum...the boys having a snack together

Maxwell & Jayden playing the drums (Jayden's favorite exhibit)

Chasing after Maxwell

Painting (notice the left hand!!!)

Drawing on the chalk board

Making a kazoo

Rainbow tunnel jumpy...the boys spent the majority of the time here and were dripping in sweat when they stopped jumping

We had this room to ourselves- each light switch turned on a different noise or light...j loved going up and down the room turning the switches on and off

Jammin...this kid is definitely going to be a drummer

J was pretty psyched to check out some construction trucks on our way back to the car
