FRIDAY: Jayden' birthday party
We had a pretty low key birthday party for Jayden (i.e. mom and dad are CHEAP)...we invited everyone to the park, made some "fireman food" and had a fireman/bike birthday bash. All of the kids brought their bikes to the park, so they spent the majority of the time biking around with each other...when it was starting to get dark, we brought the kids together for a mini concert (thanks Grandma), then had some yummy cookie cake. Overall, I think the party was a success, Jayden had a great time and we were so lucky that both of Jayden's grandmas were able to be there to help us celebrate. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends who came out to help us celebrate our little man's birthday, we are so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives.

On Saturday, we headed to the bike store for Jayden to pick up his big boy bike. Thank you Grandma Mack, we love it, and can't wait to see our big man learn how to ride a big boy bike. After nap, we headed downtown for J's birthday dinner at Joe's crab shack (J's favorite restaurant).

SUNDAY (Jayden's actual birthday)
On Sunday, Jayden played with Grandma & Grandpa for a bit, then we had to say goodbye as they had to get on the road. It was really sad saying goodbye to them because Jayden had sooooo much fun seeing them. After saying our goodbyes, we headed to Jayden's favorite place, the arcade. Then, after naptime, Jayden got his favorite meal for dinner, chocolate chip waffles. Overall, I think he had a pretty good day.
Reading fireman books with Grandpa Larry
Showing Grandma his fireman costume

After Grandma Mack & Grandpa Larry left, we took Jayden to his favorite place to help celebrate his REAL birthday, the arcade. Of course he had to wear his fireman costume.

Don't know who was happier here?!
We surprised Jayden with his favorite food for his birthday dinner (homemade chocolate waffles)...love how he's checkin it out!

MONDAY (school birthday celebration)
On Monday Jayden celebrated his birthday at school. We brought in homemade pumpkin bread for the class and Jayden got a special birthday crown. His teacher took this pic for us- so cute
TUESDAY (final day of celebration...was beginning to think it would never end!)
On Tuesday night, Grandma came over to give Jayden his final birthday present- we put it together in the front room and told him to go check out his surprise (he had NO idea what it was)
