2 weeks until we're in the Carribean!!!!!

In exactly 2 weeks, we will be boarding our plane en-route to St. Maarten. We are so excited to spend time with our family, to "relax" in the sun, and to introduce Jayden to one of our favorite places. The last time we were in St Maarten was for our honeymoon. Weird how it was less than 2 years ago, and it seems like a lifetime ago!

Mommy is starting to feel better- I'm getting my strength back, but I'm still not able to hold anything down other than rice and wonder bread =( Jayden, however, is doing awesome. He is still putting himself to sleep at night and sleeping through the night (thank you Dr. Ferber, you are my hero). His most favorite time of the day is definitely bath time with daddy. No matter how tired and cranky he is, his eyes light up the moment he enters the bath tub. This kid LOVES playing in the water. He kicks his legs and moves his arms like crazy in the tub, splashing daddy and giving him a good soaking. His teeth still have not come in yet, but you can see them under his gums. They don't seem to be bothering him as much now, although his hand is in his mouth all day long and he is drooling like a faucet. He's talking like crazy and can have long, intense conversations. His favorite thing to do is having a staring contest with his daddy every night. He gets really mad at Daddy when he blinks/turns away 1st. He's playing more with his toys and is able to entertain himself for a while now in his exersaucer. He's still obsessed with his Jumperoo and goes crazy when we put him in it. He can jump, pretty much non-stop, for 30 minutes, and when i say jump, i mean jump- this kid is a maniac (very similar to the way his cousin Tyler was back in the day!!!). He loves music and had so much fun singing songs with Grandma Sue. Grandma even took him to his first music class at the library, which he LOVED! We were all very sad that Grandma had to leave, but luckily we will see her in a few weeks!
