Road trip to Reno

We decided last minute to go to Reno for the weekend to see our favorite family and their new bundle of joy, Hanna Grace, who was born exactly 2 weeks ago. Jayden was 6 weeks old the last time we drove to Reno and I'm pretty sure the drive there was the worst day of my life so far. It took us 7 hrs to get there and Jayden screamed non-stop the entire time. We were hoping and praying that this time would be different. After Jeremy got home from work, we had dinner at home, got Jayden ready for bed, gave him his bottle, then hit the road. He fell asleep right away, but then we hit traffic and he woke up and was not too happy. We hit lots of traffic the entire ride and it ended up taking us 5 hrs and Jayden slept for about 3.5 hrs (not what we had hoped, but WAY better than last time). We put Jayden to bed once we got there and got to meet baby Hanna. She is so precious and so ridiculously small- I cannot believe Jayden used to be that small- CRAZY. We spent the weekend hanging out, enjoying each other's company, watching the little ones play together, and eating lots of junk food. Unfortunately Jayden is getting 2 teeth and wasn't himself the whole weekend, but I still think he had fun following Ava around. It was HOT in Reno, so Jayden spent most of the weekend hanging out naked...it was funny because his chest was constantly soaking wet from the never ending drool dripping out of his mouth. On Sunday night we had to say goodbye to our couple. It was hard to leave because we always have so much fun with the Axleys and we wish we lived closer so our kids could grow up together. We love you and miss you Paul, Loni, Ava Bean and Hanna Roo...can't wait to see you guys again sometime soon.

Ready, Set, Go...

"Hey Jayden, look over there...you see it, it's called FREEDOM"

"Wow, do you think we can get out there without them seeing us?"

"Well, I can't open the door yet, but once they open it for us, I'll show you the way out"
"Ava Bean, you're so cool"

What? Is there something on my face?

When J gets a tooth, he gets super congested and his nose runs constantly...this is what he looked like Sunday morning right after he woke up

Playing with the wheels...as usual

One of the few smiles we got all weekend

Hey, can I have some

Not a great pic, but the only picture I got off all 3 of the kids
